Beaufort West is nearly 500kms north-east of Cape Town. The successful after school projects established in 2002, after the completion of training and mentorship, were:

  1. Kayalabantwana (Xhosa for: Home of Children)
  2. Phakamisa (Xhosa for: To uplift)
  3. Teletubbies
  4. Sonskyn (Afrikaans for: Sunshine)

However, it is the Kraaines project which persevered, and is registered with the Department of Social Services which also provides the project with an operating subsidy.
