Our services may be divided into the following categories:

After School Care Centres and Programmes

In this service area we develop after school programme models for primary and high schoolers. Currently, we are delivering a Centres of Excellence programme for the Department of Social Development which includes 5 centres from Mitchell's Plain, Khayelitsha, Hout Bay and George in the Western Cape. In the Eastern Cape, programmes in East London and Graaff Reinet are part of the 2012 beneficiary pool.

After School Help Desk

This is the only programme of its kind in the country and is focused on developing emerging after school providers through capacity building, systems building, networking, training and mentorship. The programme if offered nationally.

Training for Emerging After School Care Providers

PASCAP Trust has developed a full training programme for after school providers aligned to SAQA qualification 60209 "Further Education and Training Certificate: Child and Youth Care Work."

Community Outreach

In order to demonstrate a dynamic model of after school care, PASCAP Trust provides an outreach service to schools, communities, government and private providers. Outreach services include teen parenting workshops, substance abuse education, HIV/AIDS and child protection awareness. The aim is to demonstrate how innovative of after school services can be and how these services and programmes can link with and add value to existing services.
